Carlos Roberto Ramírez

Carlos Roberto Ramírez is a graduate/PhD student in musicology and teaches music history at Ithaca College. He is an alto/tenor from Puerto Rico.

For his research, he plays and sing a lot of music from the late Middle Ages and early Renaissance. When he's not doing that, he likes the total opposite of the spectrum and listens to Electronic Dance Music and Experimental Noise. His favorite Chamber Singers piece is a tie between Membra Jesu Nostra and Der Geist hilft.

Outside of the Chamber Singers, Carlos really likes to cook. "It's my favorite way to share time with the people I love and center myself (it's also the best procrastination initiative, since you get to eat it after!)"
